Calamari Steaks aka Squid Steaks
These Calamari Steaks tastes great!
We stir fried some veggies and then fried the Calamari Steaks - We had a great dinner!
These Calamari Steaks are flavorful and tender. Each steak is 5-6 ounces.
Want to try something new on the grill - try these Calamari Steaks on the grill.
Cooking Instructions:
--Grilled: 350-375 (5-7 min) use high temp breading
--Deep Fried: 375 (3 1/2-5 min) use high temp breading
--Sauteed with Egg Batter: Pre-cook (poach or fry) 4-5 miin then batter in egg & sautee like abalone
Thaw 4 steaks-pat dry
--Beat 2 eggs in bowl
--Season 1-1 1/2 cup bread crumbs to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Dip steaks in egg mixture and then bread crumbs.
--Fry in butter or margarine for 2 min on each side until golden brown
--Garnish with lemon slices
